We have been running this event for over 10 years now and it is the highlight of our event calendar. Think of it as climbing in a nightclub. We run it in winter when the sun sets early, so we can turn the lights off at 6pm and embrace the night club climbing vibe till close at 10pm.
Wearing a headlamp makes climbing and bouldering feel a little more adventurous and it's lots of fun. Kids and adults love this event, with some people even trying to tick off an event at each Climb Fit location. It's a great night for first-timers too and we love that this is the first time many people try climbing.
We partner with PETZL who provide us with great discounts on headlamps on the night, and experts are available if you want to talk all things techy.
With a DJ, food truck and lots of games and giveaways, this really is a special night to come visit.

Charge your headlamp, get some glowsticks and charge your phone for all the epic photos you will be taking. Wear comfy clothes and runners if its your first time. Bring something warm for when you take a break or head outside for dinner at the food truck.Â

Members, we will be setting up a member check in - so you can swipe and go (if you have everything you need)
TOP TIP - come after 8:30pm when it dies down a bit and things get really spooky
Save time and do this before you arrive. SIGN HERE. If you're under 18, a parent will need to do this for you. As a newbie we will check you in, get your equipment ready and then run you through the safety.

Safety is paramount and we will check your headlamp at reception and issue you a wristband. BYO headlamp or you can buy one on the night from our PETZL pop-up shop. Our basic model is the Tikkina at $59 in four different colours. Our floor staff will also be checking your headlamps throughout the evening.
Once you are checked in and paid at reception, we will give you a wristband. This gives you access to climbing all night till close. You can also participate in our special event games (with prizes up for grabs) and you will be able to hang out and grab dinner from our Gozleme tent. DJ beats will be going all night long too, so you can even get your groove on.
For an adult with 1 piece of gear, $30 add another item for $3
For a child with harness hire, it's just $25
If you're coming just to belay for your child or mate, there's no charge but you do need your own headlamp.
Members and 10 pass holders, just swipe in as normal.

Headlamps are important, so please bring your own or buy one on the night (10% discount on PETZL headlamps at our pop-up shop). If you are belaying, you will need to wear one while your climber is on the rope so you can keep an eye on them. If you are bouldering or climbing you will also need to wear one.
Our staff will all be wearing high vis so they are easy to spot if you need something.
For safety reasons, these will not be in use. However, the speed wall auto belays will be used for racing on the night, so get some practice in!
If you're new to climbing, or have young kids, we suggest getting here before the lights go off at 6pm. That way you can get comfortable with belaying and climbing before it gets too exciting! Once the lights go out, just go slow and enjoy the music. We promise you will have a blast!

DJ Jimmy James and Harley will be bringing the beats all night long. It's usually a combo of dance, trance, disco and a little bit of rock thrown in there. Bring your glowsticks, and if anyone finds some light up shoes in adult size 9, please let me know 😉

Because this is a special year for us, we thought we should run some games. The start times will be announced over the night and we will have some prizes up for grabs. Keep an eye out on our social media for more specific info on these games. Speed climbing will definitely be included, and we have a Hang Board Battle ready to test out too.
