Enjoy waiting around to fill out forms? Nup – we don’t either. 

Get the boring stuff out of the way before you come in by submitting your waiver form online. You’ll fastrack the entry process and save precious time so you can get on that wall sooner and start having fun. 

A couple of things to bear in mind – you’ll need to be 18 years or older to sign the waiver. If you’re under 18 years of age, you’ll need to get the waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

FAQ

Do I need to book?

Nope, Just rock up! Please keep your group to less than 10 people. If you have more, you will
need to email us and book in.

What do I have to do before my first session?

Returning guests and new climbers will need to sign our waiver. Save time and do it before you come to Climb Fit. Click the link at the top of the page.

What if I want to do a workout in the gym?

Remember to bring a towel - no towel, no train! It is a requirement that you wipe down any equipment you use before and after
you use it. We run a whole range of classes such as Yoga and Circuit and these are included in your entry fee - hope to see you for a sweat session soon!

What should I wear rock climbing?

We suggest that you wear sports clothing  - tights or shorts are great! You will likely get pretty sweaty so your usual gym gear is perfect. Runners are fine for your first visit, but if you are wanting to try Bouldering or step it up a notch, climbing shoes are available for hire. Bring socks.

What are the age restrictions?

Kids aged 4+ years of age can participate in rock climbing at our facilities. Once kids turn 12, they can also learn how to belay (hold the ropes) providing they are sensible! Our bouldering areas are restricted for 12+ years of age as they are a dangerous area of the climbing gym. There is no upper age limit for climbing - we have loads of members who are over 80 years of age who climb regularly.

What’s the deal with liquid chalk?

Our gym accepts the use of chalk balls/ loose chalk in a bag or liquid chalk. Please keep your bag of chalk closed to reduce spills. You can also hire a bag of chalk for $5.

Do I need a lesson or any training to get started?

You don't need to book for a lesson - just rock up! Our staff will run you through how to belay (hold the ropes) and give you a safety briefing for our Bouldering area. Please keep your group to less than 10 people. If you have more, you will
need to email us and book in.

What about Birthday Parties/ Groups and Kids programs?

Our kids parties/coaching and holiday programs are up and running. Check out our Kids Page for more info.  

What about groups?

We like to prepare for your arrival, so if you have more than 10 people in your group, please make sure you contact us to make a booking. You can find more information on our Party Page

What about group fitness classes?

All classes are included in your entry fee or membership. We suggest booking in to make sure you get a spot. Jump online now and have a look at what we offer.

Can I hire equipment?

Yes, you can. We ask that you bring socks along if you want to hire climbing shoes. Please keep in mind that we do not have a vast range of climbing shoes for kids, so kids will be more comfortable in their runners.
