Pitch Black returns to Climb Fit Macquarie on Friday 26 June 2026 - the final Pitch Black of the year and always the biggest night of the three. Lights off at 6pm, climbing by headlamp until 10pm.

DJ all night. Gozleme food truck from Kocagoz out front. Petzl pop-up shop with the full headlamp range and experts on hand. Mini-game and speed wall racing.

Great for families and first-timers The dark levels the playing field - everyone's navigating by headlamp, figuring it out together. Kids love it. Adults love it. Top tip: arrive before 6pm if you have little ones so they can get comfortable before the lights go off.

What to bring A headlamp is required for both climber and belayer. BYO or buy one on the night from our Petzl pop-up. Comfy clothes, runners, and something warm for when you head out to the food truck.
