At Climb Fit, we are making the switch to Assisted Braking Devices for Lead Climbing. We will have a roll out period from 18th August - 31st October 2025, so you have plenty of time to make the switch.

Why are we making the change? Assisted Braking Devices (ABD) can provide a reliable backup to any belayer. We are making the change to minimise risk. We are not alone in making this change in our region, in fact, other gyms in Australia and around the world are making the switch too. 

We believe as a community of climbing gyms it will be safer for our customers.
